The Portland Winterhawks beat the T-Birds 6-5 in a shootout Saturday, January 25, 2020, at accesso ShoWare Center. Payton Mount had two goals and an assist and Matthew Rempe, Cade McNelly and Simon Kubicek each had a goal. Max Patterson had two assists. Roddy Ross had 36 saves. Seth Jarvis scored twice for Portland and Cross Hanas, Jaydon Dureau and Reece Newkirk scored for Portland. Dureau scored the only goal in the shootout. Joel Hofer had 31 saves.
