Jake Lee To Play For Team Orr at 2019 #SWTP

Seattle Thunderbirds defenseman Jake Lee will play for Team Orr at the 2019 Sherwin-Williams CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game on Wednesday, January 23, in Red Deer. Lee is one of seven players from the WHL playing for Team Orr at the annual NHL Draft Showcase Game.

Lee, born July 13, 2001, was the T-Birds first round selection, and the 18th overall pick, in the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft. This season Lee has played 42 games and has two goals and 17 assists for 19 points.

Left wing Dillon Hamaliuk was also selected to play in the Prospects Game but will be unable due to a lower body injury. Hamaliuk, born October 30, 2000, was the T-Birds sixth round selection, 111th overall, in the 2015 Bantam Draft. Hamaliuk has 11 goals and 15 assists for 26 points in 31 games this season

The players were chosen by NHL clubs and include talent from across the WHL, the Ontario Hockey League, and Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
