For 23 years, the Hockey Challenge has supported families at Ronald McDonald House Charities ® of Western Washington & Alaska (RMHC) by raising over $6.6 million.
RMHC provides families a place of comfort and compassion just steps away from the hospital where their child receives critical care. This safe place to stay serves as a refuge with meals provided, laundry facilities, family activities, and a supportive community that creates a special place of comfort.
Though we are unable to gather on the ice for our annual Hockey Challenge this year due to current circumstances, the families at RMHC still need our help. We’re joining the rest of the Hockey Challenge teams and supporting the families of the house with Hockey Challenge Virtual Edition, as ONE TEAM, and would love to have our fans support as part of this year’s Hockey Challenge.
The T-Birds have donned their full hockey gear and recorded fun and silly videos of them performing feats of strength and artistry. For every $1,000 raised the T-Birds and RMHC will unveil one of these videos to fans. We hope these videos will encourage our fans to support the RMHC with a monetary donation. Hopefully, we are able to provide a few smiles, maybe some chuckles, have a good laugh at ourselves, and raise some much-needed funds for RMHC during the month of May.
The monetary goal of each video is as follows:
$1,000 – Boxing Video – Unveiled May 19, 2021 and embedded below.
$2,000 – Lifting weights
$3,000 – Pull-ups
$4,000 – Cycling
$5,000 – Squats
$6,800 – Cha Cha Slide
$8,000 – Surprise T-Birds Alumni Feats of Strength Videos
