The Tri-City Americans defeated the T-Birds 4-2 Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at the Toyota Center in Kennewick. Austin Strand and Jarret Tyszka scored for the T-Birds. Liam Hughes had 41 saves for the T-Birds. Jordan Topping scored twice and Nolan Yaremko and Michael Rasmussen each had a goal for the Americans. Patrick Dea made 26 saves.
