2019-20 Humanitarian Award – Keltie Jeri-Leon

The T-Birds Humanitarian award is presented annually to the player that represents what every player should be on and off of the ice. Jeri-Leon served as a mentor and role model to local students, making visits to schools during the season and participating in a wide range assemblies and elementary school reading initiatives.

“Keltie embodies what it means to be a humanitarian both inside and outside of the locker room. He was our most active player at social events and we knew that we could rely on him to be a positive presence within our organization and the community of Kent,” said T-Birds Skill Development and Video Coach Jared Crooks.

The T-Birds organization is very proud of Jeri-Leon’s off-ice accomplishments this season.

2019-20 Most Dedicated Award – Keltie Jeri-Leon

The Seattle Thunderbirds Most Dedicated Award is voted on by the team.

Jeri-Leon played in all situations for the T-Birds this year and was a leader on and off the ice. He was second on the team in scoring with 23 goals and 18 assists for 41 points going up against top defensive talent on a nightly basis.

“Keltie was instrumental in the establishment of a group work ethic that helped both our younger and older players as the year progressed. He is a great role model for the Seattle Thunderbirds,” said T-Birds General Manager Bil La Forge.
