Kozun Signs ATO With Adirondack Flames

Kozun is Western Conference nominee for Goalie of Year

KENT, April 10, 2015 — Seattle Thunderbirds general manager Russ Farwell today announced goalie Taran Kozun has signed an Amateur Tryout Agreement (ATO) with the Adirondack Flames of the American Hockey League.

Kozun was 33-19-4-4 this season with a 2.41 goals against average and a .915 save percentage. He was second in the league in goals against and third in save percentage. In two seasons with the T-Birds Kozun had a 47-28-4-5 record with a .918 save percentage and 2.40 save percentage.

Kozun is the Western Conference nominee for the WHL Goaltender of the Year Award. He was also named a first team Western Conference All-Star this season.

Adirondack is the top minor league affiliate of the Calgary Flames. Adirondack has six games remaining on their regular season schedule.
