True Named To Danish World Junior Preliminary Roster

T-Birds center 10 goals and 8 assists this season
KENT, December 8, 2015 — Seattle Thunderbirds general manager Russ Farwell today announced center Alexander True has been named to the Danish preliminary roster for the 2016 World Junior Championship in Helsinki, Finland, December 26, 2015, to January 5, 2016.
True, from Copenhagen, Denmark, is in his second season with the T-Birds and has 10 goals and eight assists for 18 points in 27 games.
There are a total of 30 players on the Danish preliminary roster for the World Junior Championship, which includes three goaltenders, 11 defensemen and 16 forwards. The Danish team will have a training camp from December 16 to 19 in Huddinge, Sweden, after which the roster will be reduced to 26 players.

True was selected by the T-Birds in the first round, 48th overall, in the 2014 CHL Import Draft. Last season True had six goals and six assists for 12 points in 38 games. He had two goals in six playoff games against the Portland Winterhawks last year.
True played five games for Denmark at the 2015 World Junior Championship but did not register a point.
The T-Birds travel to Spokane to play the Chiefs on Wednesday at 7:05pm. They have back-to-back home games this coming weekend. They play Chiefs at ShoWare Center on Friday at 7:35pm and the Everett Silvertips on Saturday at 7:05pm.
T-Birds single game tickets for the 2015-16 season are available online at the T-Birds website and at the ShoWare Center box office. The ShoWare Center Box Office is open Monday through Friday 10 am to 5 pm Saturday game days at 10 am and Sunday game days at noon.
