T-Birds Trade Alex Morozoff To Saskatoon

Seattle acquires sixth round bantam pick in 2023

KENT, December 9, 2019 — Seattle Thunderbirds general manager Bil La Forge announced today the team has traded left wing Alex Morozoff to the Saskatoon Blades for a sixth round pick in the 2023 Draft.

“Alex and his family are currently dealing with a family medical issue,” said La Forge. “We have made this trade to help get Alex closer to his family in Saskatoon. Alex has been a good player for us in his time here and we wish him and his family all the best in this difficult time for them.”

Morozoff has four goals and an assist for five points in 24 games this season. In 116 games over three seasons with the T-Birds and Red Deer Rebels he has 18 goals and 10 assists for 28 points.

The T-Birds next home game is Tuesday, December 10, at 7:05pm. This game is a Chick-fil-A 2-for-Tuesday game. All tickets, popcorn, hot dogs and select beverages have special two-for-one prices.
