Matthew Wedman Named Western Conference Second Team All-Star

Calgary, Alta. – The Western Hockey League announced today the Eastern and Western Conference All-Star teams for the 2018-19 WHL season.

Seattle Thunderbirds center Matthew Wedman was named a Second Team Western Conference All-Star. Wedman is the T-Birds leading scorer this season with 40 goals and 37 assists for 77 points in 66 games. He is the first T-Bird to hit 40 goals since Prab Rai had 41 goals in the 2009-10 season. Wedman had 29 goals and 17 assists in the last 32 regular season games. In 255 career games with the T-Birds he has 67 goals and 90 assists for 157 points. In 43 career playoff games Wedman has three goals and seven assists for 10 points.
