Health and Safety Update

KENT, September 7, 2021 In close collaboration with state and local public health and government officials, the Seattle Thunderbirds announced today that all guests age 12 and older will be required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

The Thunderbirds will begin implementing the new policy starting with the Seattle Kraken vs. Calgary Flames pre-season game on October 2 and the Thunderbirds home opener on October 9 vs. the Portland Winterhawks. In accordance with current Washington state and King County mask mandates, fans and staff will also be required to wear masks at all times except while actively eating or drinking.

“We want to take every reasonable measure to promote a healthier and safer environment when attending Thunderbirds games,” says team president, Colin Campbell.

The T-Birds start the 2021-22 Western Hockey League regular season against the Portland Winterhawks on Saturday, October 2, at 6:00pm at Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

The Home Opener is Saturday, October 9, against the Winterhawks at 6:05pm at accesso ShoWare Center.

T-Birds season tickets for the 2021-22 regular season are currently on sale. Season tickets can be purchased by calling the T-Birds office at 253-239-7825.
