Ross makes 24 saves in 1-0 loss to Everett
KENT, October 12, 2019 — Gage Goncalves scored for the Everett Silvertips at 2:21 of overtime Saturday night at Angel of the Winds Arena to give his team a 1-0 victory over the Seattle Thunderbirds.
The T-Birds are back at accesso ShoWare Center on Friday, October 18, to play the Brandon Wheat Kings at 7:35pm. Single game tickets are on sale online on the T-Birds website and at the accesso ShoWare Center box office.
In the last two minutes of the game Seattle kept the Silvertips hemmed in the offensive zone and had several scoring chances but could not beat Dustin Wolf.
Seattle goalie Roddy Ross made 24 saves in the game and was stellar in the second period when he stopped Jacob Wright all alone in front with a big right pad save and then minutes later stopped Goncalves on a two-on-one break.
The T-Birds are now taking orders for Flex-24 Ticket packages. Fans that purchase the 24-Flex Ticket Package will be able to select any available premium seat for any game, in any ticket combination, during the 2019-20 season.
