Kent, March 5, 2013 – The Thunderbird Community Sports Foundation will be raffling off a autographed Ryan Nugent-Hopkins Edmonton Oilers jersey at the game against the Everett Silvertips on Saturday, March 9.

The funds collected from the raffling off of the Ryan Nugent-Hopkins jersey will be used by the Foundation in its fundraising efforts for the Kent Relay for Life.  This is the third NHL player jersey the Foundation has raffled off this season to benefit the Kent Relay for Life.

The Kent Relay for Life brings the Kent community together to honor cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against a disease that has already taken too much.

The Thunderbird Community Sports Foundation promotes good health, physical education, and academic achievement by providing scholarships and grants for amateur athletes in the Puget Sound Region to participate in athletic competitions in team and individual sports, as well as providing grants to local youth and amateur sports associations for equipment and facilities for use in our community.
